Do you need medication refills?

All prescriptions and authorizations for renewals should be requested during normal office hours.
Please call 305.892.3101 Mon through Thu from 9:00 to 5:00 and Fri from 9:00 to 3:00.

Don’t wait to the last minute to refill!! Kindly give us 3 business days to process all prescription renewals.

Some prescriptions may require pre-authorization from your insurance carrier. In order to process it, you should request your refills 2 weeks in advance.

Patients with continuous medication refills must be seen in the office at least on an annual basis.
Depending on the medical condition, some of them may be refilled by the primary physician.

Requesting a medication refill
When requesting a medication refill, please leave your name, phone number, date of birth, the name of the medication, name and location of your pharmacy. Most prescriptions are phoned into your pharmacy within 72 hours.

Side effects/allergic reactions
Should you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, skin r ash, etc), discontinue the medication immediately and call 911.
Should you experience any side effects of the medication you have been prescribed, call our office immediately to report the problem. During evening hours, our answering service will forward your call to the physician on call.

Injectables
If you are beginning treatment for Hepatitis C, you should call your insurance plan to determine the preferred pharmacy for injectable medications. Many insurance plans offer a mail order pharmacy for their injectables, while oral medications may be received from a local pharmacy provider.
